It’s October in Barcelona, that means rain these days… tomorrow there’s a public holiday (National Day in Spain), and I planned to a) lay on the beach or b) drive my bike to the mountains… but it looks like a change in plan into : installing the Playstation and retry some games… Playstation and computergames are reserved for rainy days and dirty wintertime… too soon now… I want the beach !!!

What can I say, no update on Choepie in years or so… unforgivable .. but I do have an excuse : I still have no internet at home in Barcelona. Fighting with Telefonica for months now because I decided to have reduce the contact with their Customer uncare centre to a minimum and take ADSL with another company. Unfortunately they have the monopoly on fixed telefone lines and therefore you can’t go without them. What am I complaining here : ADSL of Telefonica is actually great ! I have 3 neigbours with WIFI from Telefonica and thanks to them I do have a connection most of the time. Not all the time and that is my fault because I failed to spend time on it, accessing their setup. There is a nice article in a Spanish Linux mag (@roba) which explains pretty straightforward what you need to break a Telefonica ADSL account. haha, only for the fun of messing with Telefonica I should spen a rainy afternoon on it.

If I didn’t had nothing else to do… I still have a lot to study with Ableton, bought a very nice Midi Controller (more on that once it arrived) and will start my diving season upcomming Sunday. Also a couple of clubs to checkout and take my motorbike for a ride in the mountains around Barcelona. I’m sure there’s a life without an internetconnection and to be honest, it’s rather comfortable.
